"Return To Oblivion"- DOUG FOGELSON IN DISCUSSION WITH MOCP CURATOR ALLISON GRANT AT FIELD STUDY:
As a part of the programming for the Field Study Exhibition at David Weinberg Gallery a discussion between Museum of Contemporary Photography curator Allison Grant and Doug Fogelson will address Fogelson's experimental photographic techniques, the intersection of art and ecological concerns/devastation, and his plans for a yearlong residency with Openlands.
Field Study is a selection of photographs and videos that examine the indelible relationship between humans and nature. Co-sponsored byOpenlands to advance a culture of conservation in a variety of urban and regional settings, this group show investigates our current ecological reality. Curated by Katherine Ware and Meg Noe for the 7th AnnualFilter Photo Festival Juried Exhibition.
